Public Art: Occupy Wall Screens
French new media artist Maurice Benayoun, juxtaposing human feelings with the global financial system, created two artworks, Occupy Wall Screens and Emotion Forecast, which are being presented by Streaming Museum at Big Screen Plaza public space (via Artlog).

The Big Cheesy: A Grilled Cheese Melt-Off
Vote for New York’s best grilled cheese at this two-day “homage to fromage.” Participating in the contest are seven local grilled cheese shops, with tastings paired with some of the city’s best beers. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to City Harvest.
