School of Rock at Joe’s Pub
School of Rock, which offers rock music lessons and camps for kids, will be presenting its annual rock tribute show by students (ages 13-17). This year, the show includes tributes to some of the best of MTV’s most culturally significant artists like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Eric Clapton, LL Cool J and many more, and will be held at the treasured Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater in Noho.

New York Guitar Festival at Kaufman Center
The 2012 New York Guitar Festival pairs some of today’s most distinctive and influential guitarists (Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo, Dan Zanes, My Brightest Diamond, Buke and Gase, Gyan Riley) with silent films by one of the greatest comic actor-directors in the history of cinema (Buster Keaton) in a once-in-a-lifetime event at this classic uptown cultural center.
