Jamie Liddell at Bowery Ballroom
Bop to the blue-eyed soul of silken-voiced British crooner Liddell as part of his tour behind his new album, "Jim." He's got a classic sound but it hits just the right note for today, a rare combination. With Jennifer O'Connor.

Before it's gone:
Darger Discoveries
Darger Discoveries presents "a concentrated and illuminating new survey of mixed-media works" by the legendary reclusive artist Henry Darger (1892-1973). A seminal figure in the outsider art field, working in self-imposed isolation, Darger brought his fantasies of good versus evil to life in the creation of the vivid epic world of "In the Realms of the Unreal." The exclusive representative of Darger's Estate presents several newly available works from the self-taught artist. Also featured is AE SPACE: Henry Darger's Room: Photographs by Keizo Kitajima, a selection of limited-edition C prints documenting the one-room apartment in the Chicago townhouse where the artist lived and worked for 40 years.
