The Kitchen has been offering top quality art and performace for decades. The main event will feature special performances by Laurie Anderson and SonicYouth, and the after-party offers champagne and dancing til midnight.

Green-Wood Historic Cemetery Ride
The neo-Gothic graveyard itself is notable in its own right as the resting place of countless celebrated New Yorker, but it may be better known as one of the city's most beautiful natural spaces. This day-long ride, organized by the Five Borough Bicycle Club, is a rare opportunity to enjoy the 500-plus beautiful, wooded acres of what is usually a bike-free zone.

Radio City's celebrated Speaker Series closes the season with a bang (and possibly a whimper or two) by offering what promises to be an animated debate between infuential pundit James Carville and former W. spinmeister Karl Rove, with talk TV superstar Charlie Rose as referee.
