What's Going on this Week

APRIL 13, 2011

So, you’ve just got your taxes done. What could be better than a martini and a massage?

Thrillist Martini Week
Events promo site Thrillist honors the perfect cocktail from April 4-17 with special recipes (which they’ve kindly shared so you can mix your own) at 16 of the city’s finest imbibing establishments and a chance to win a 3-martini dinner for two.

Spa Week NY
This twice-a-year promotion is coming up (April 11-17) just in time to peel off the winter layers. Many of the city’s better spas participate, offering substantial discounts on regular services like mani-pedis, facials, massages and more. You can find listings on the Spa Week site but individual establishments will usually let you know what their promotions are.

Free Coffee!
And the IRS doesn’t even have to know. Brooklyn eatery Cubana Socíal has designated Friday, April 15 Free Coffee Day. They serve Intelligentsia coffee and their brunches are perfect for laid-back weekend fun.

Friday, April 15, 10 p.m.-4 a.m.; $10
