555 West End Avenue is a distinguished architectural gem, originally constructed in 1908 as a private school. The red-brick, Collegiate Gothic-style building features white stone trim, quoin window surrounds, owl gargoyles, and crenellated turrets, making it stand out among its historic neighbors. In 2019, the building was transformed into 13 spacious condominiums, maintaining its majestic character while introducing modern luxuries.

The conversion preserved unique scholastic elements such as soaring ceilings and tall windows, which are now well-suited for high-end living. The former library, with its arch windows, became an atrium-like living room in a 3,463-square-foot duplex.
