In late August 2025, novelist/screenwriter Jonathan Tropper purchased an apartment at celebrity favorite 443 Greenwich Street for $13.3 million. The deal appears to have taken place in an off-market transaction, but public records show that the unidentified seller paid $8 million for it in 2018.
According to city records, actor Jake Gyllenhaal has sold his condo at 443 Greenwich Street for $14 million in an off-market transaction. The buyer of the three-bedroom unit is listed as an LLC, and Mr. Gyllenhaal bought it through a trust. He purchased it for $8.6 million in mid-2017.
