The 8-story mixed-use building under construction on the Bowery between Broome and Grand is nearing completion and new residential apartments and hotel rooms are in the works. The project at 138 Bowery is from developers Emmut Properties which purchased a stretch of buildings on the block in 2015. After several were demolished, construction began on the new 84-foot building and we last checked in on the development when it topped out in summer 2017; new photos show it is now nearing full completion. Apartment details and pricing have not been revealed but approved permits list a laundry room, bike parking and a roof deck as amenities.
The new building is within the NoLiTa/Little Italy neighborhood where there are currently 34 units listed for sale with a median price of $3.875 million.
