The recent South Brooklyn building boom has brought striking new plans for 2735 East 13th Street and 3041 Brighton 7th Street, and made its way a few blocks over to 2920 Brighton 4th Street, where plans for a 13-unit rental have kicked into high gear: Developer Citiscape Design & Development applied to demolish the one-story house currently on-site two weeks ago and revealed the first rendering on Facebook earlier this week. The new building will be taller than its neighbors, but not overwhelmingly so, and feature a brick façade in multiple shades of gray and large, metal-framed windows.
According to plans filed with the city, the five-story building will comply with Appendix G flood zone regulations and have a medical office in the elevated cellar. The elevator building will be topped with a roof deck. Six on-site parking spaces, a bike room, a bus stop right outside the door, and easy access to the Brighton Beach subway station will allow for several commute options.
