Progress continues at the mixed-use rental building under construction at 515 West 36th Street. The 39-story Midtown West tower topped out over the summer and now, installation of its its shiny glass facade is underway. Once complete, it will be home to roughly 250 rental units.

Ismael Leyva Architects designed the building and Lalezarian Properties is developing the site, which is just west of Tenth Avenue and straddles a through-block parcel between 36th and 37th streets. Progress indicates it will be ready to launch this year, though no date has been announced. However, the housing lottery for the project's affordable units recently launched and qualifying New Yorkers can apply through Housing Connect until April 3, 2018.
