In New York, there is no question that park-facing real estate is in high demand and can command equally high prices -- such listings regularly rank among Manhattan's top sales and top contracts. But as price reductions from May 1-7, 2024 show, some stratospheric park-side prices are starting to come a little closer down to Earth.
Such listings were among over 400 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses that experienced reductions. These also included four sponsor units at Smithsonian Place, a new development condominium in Harlem, approximately three months after sales launched. The building dates back to the late 19th century and was restored to its former glory, but the interiors were transformed into modern residential units.
