October 2021 opens with 9,615 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses for sale in core areas of New York City. The median Manhattan condo price comes in at $2,290,474, or $1,813 per square foot. The median Manhattan co-op price comes to $897,744 (all figures per CityRealty listings.

From September 27 to October 4, 2021, a total of 342 sales listings experienced price reductions. Among them was a Gramercy Park penthouse owned by Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen (not pictured). This eclectically decorated home combines four apartments spread over three floors, and features like a "saloon room," recording studio turned soundproof pantry, and secret playroom with "jailhouse intercom" to upstairs playroom are not to be found anywhere else in New York.
