A rendering has been revealed for the new residential building coming to 56 Ainslie Street in Williamsburg. Permits were filed earlier this year to construct an 8-story building with 27 units on Ainslie Avenue just east of the BQE between Rodney Street and Keap Street. The rendering was revealed by Skytop Design Group via Instagram showing off a contemporary structure with expansive windows and what appears to be units with outdoor access. The location is near several subway options including the G train at Metropolitan Avenue, the L train at Lorimer Street, and the J/M/Z trains at Marcy Avenue.
Permits indicate the 27 rentals are divided between 18,179 square feet; they will average 673 feet and will likely be rentals. Amenities will include bike storage, laundry room and second-floor recreational space. There will be a lobby on the first floor followed by three or four units on the 2nd through 8th floors. Solomon Feder of Ainslie Holdings LLC is listed as the owner on permits; the applicant of record is J Frankl and Charles Mallea Associates.
