The first phase of Related Companies and Oxford Property Group's Hudson Yards is anticipated to open in March 2019, and the 28-acre mega-development reported a significant milestone: Fifteen Hudson Yards, the first residential tower, has topped out at over 900 feet and cemented its status as part of the New York City skyline.

Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group, Fifteen Hudson Yards is part of the first phase of Hudson Yards. This also includes The Public Square and Garden, The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, Thomas Heatherwick’s interactive Vessel, and The Shed, a multi-arts center also designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro.

The construction progress coincides with another significant milestone for Fifteen Hudson Yards, this one pertaining to the apartments within: Over 50% of the one- through four-bedroom condos have sold. The use of filtered fresh air, Lutron home automation, grey water recycling system, and other state-of-the-art technology is instrumental in the building’s LEED Gold certification.
