As March 2022 winds down, CityRealty listings show 8,398 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses for sale throughout New York City. This shows a 14 percent drop from late March 2021, when coronavirus vaccines had only recently become widely available and New York was grappling with the reopening process. It remains to be seen how a BA.2 variant will affect New Yorkers, but real estate is currently in high demand: Manhattan median prices now come in at $2,311,103 ($1,842 per square foot) for condos and $874,421 for co-ops.
