Following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and the closure of Signature Bank, regulators have rushed in to contain the fallout and consider the interest rate increases that contributed to Silicon Valley Bank's woes. Nevertheless, worries have rippled out beyond the two banks and taken their toll on the market. It is far too soon to say what long-term effects this will have, but some may continue to see New York real estate as a safe investment, especially in tumultuous times.
