While the city's new condos and skyscrapers have garnered considerable attention, New York is also home to buildings that have stood since before the 19th century with apartments that rarely come on the market. In addition to being rich in original architectural details, these homes are frequently priced to sell, allowing buyers to get a steal on a piece of New York City history.
