At the start of March 2023, CityRealty listings show 7,422 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses for sale throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, western Queens, and parts of the Bronx. The median price of a Manhattan condo comes to $2,644,420 ($1,900 per square foot), and Manhattan co-ops come to a median price of $997,035.

From March 1-7, 2023, a total of 254 sales listings experienced price reductions. Among them was the Stella Tower home of Chase Mishkin, a prominent Broadway producer whose credits included Memphis, Dame Edna: The Royal Tour, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and a production of Equus starring Daniel Radcliffe. The New York Post reported that she bought the apartment from the developer for $3.97 million in 2016 after falling in love with the foyer and the thoughtful layout. Her estate listed the apartment for $2.84 million in January 2023 following her death in August 2022, but the price has gone down since then. The most recent cut brings it down to $2,575,000.
