432 Park Avenue, #29E (Douglas Elliman) 432 Park Avenue, #29E (Douglas Elliman)
As well-heeled New Yorkers made the transition from living in single-family mansions to apartments, cleverly marketed multi-family buildings on Park Avenue were instrumental in the transition. Architects like J.E.R. Carpenter and Rosario Candela designed architecturally distinct buildings that transformed their streetscapes and came to house apartments with expansive proportions and memorable interior details.

Roughly a century later, newer buildings like 432 Park Avenue and 520 Park Avenue continue to make the avenue a destination for wealthy New Yorkers. These buildings have transformed the local skyline with their towering heights; additionally, while the interiors are more white-box than their prewar counterparts, they seek to attract New York's richest buyers with luxurious amenities and full-service staffs.

From January 11-17, 2023, a total of 181 sales listings experienced price reductions. A selection of notable listings, including some found in historic and new Park Avenue buildings, may be seen below.
