As of July 22, 2020, CityRealty listings show 10,191 sales listings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and western Queens. Manhattan median condo prices dipped slightly from last week to $2,272,704, or $1,754 per square foot. Co-op median prices also experienced a slight drop to $899,926.

Rental listings throughout the city jumped to 18,390 availabilities on the market. Median Manhattan rents, however, sloped downward slightly to $2,670/month for studios, $3,243/month for one-beds, $4,101/month for two-beds, and $5,004/month for three-beds.
Over the past seven days, 412 listings throughout New York City experienced price reductions to some degree. These include a classic Greek Revival townhouse in Greenwich Village that was once home to E.B. White, author of Charlotte's Web and the New York-set Stuart Little. Many of its original details, including pocket doors, wood-burning fireplaces with marble mantles, and a double-doored foyer, have been beautifully maintained, making it look quite similar to when Mr. White lived there. However, the baths and kitchen have been updated to modern standards.

Several blocks uptown, another notable price haircut takes place at the onetime Yorkville home of Irving Berlin. The songwriter had already made a name for himself with standards like "Blue Skies" and "Puttin on the Ritz" by the time he moved in, and would write hits like "Say It Isn't So" and "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" while living there. Please be advised that all figures reflect cumulative price cuts as opposed to the most recent reduction.
