Olshan Realty's market report identified the seller as Tamara Mellon, founder of Jimmy Choo shoes, and pointed out that she stands to take a loss on it, having purchased it for $20,000,000 in 2008.
This week's Central Park Tower unit was #83W, a half-floor, three-bedroom sponsor unit asking $17,088,000. The unidentified buyer will enjoy views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline, incredible privacy, cleverly designed interiors, and access to over 50,000 square feet of residential amenities.
