West-facing apartments with spectacular sunset views

Enjoy later sunsets from the comfort of your home. (450 Washington Street, #903 - The Corcoran Group) Enjoy later sunsets from the comfort of your home. (450 Washington Street, #903 - The Corcoran Group)
Ever since Daylight Saving Time began almost two months ago, New Yorkers have enjoyed more daylight and later sunsets. On May 9, that hits a new milestone when the sun sets at 8:00 p.m. for the first time in 2023. Going forward, sunset will not be before 8:00 p.m. until August.

New York has no shortage of restaurants, parks, or observation decks for making the most of the city's sunsets. Additionally, several condos' and rentals' outdoor amenities are positioned in a way that allows residents to gather to enjoy the sunset. But some lucky New Yorkers have a front-row seat to spectacular sunset views from their couch, bed, or balcony.
