Manhattan’s largest rental building, SKY at 605 West 42nd Street opened its doors to renters this spring and has now removed scaffolding from its lower levels fully revealing its porte-cochère and retail podium. The midblock motor court surrounds a custom pumpkin-shaped bronze sculpture designed by Yayoi Kusama. Additionally, an eye-catching, lime green Lamborghini is currently parked in the driveway.
SKY's canted glass retail podium will be comprised of an approximately 30 foot high, 20,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, as well as a large below grade retail space, with 200 feet of frontage on Eleventh Avenue. Earlier this year it was announced that the luxury fitness company Life Time Fitness Inc. will open its first New York City location along three floors of SKY's base. Called Life Time Athletic at Sky, the new club will be comprised of three pools, a full-sized indoor basketball court, a cafe, yoga and cycling studios as well as a spa.

Apartment interiors designed by the Rockwell Group feature warm, natural palettes that exude elegance, with full-size window walls to maximize views of the skyline, river, and harbor. Kitchens are Italian-crafted with two finish options, dusk and dawn, and feature quartz countertops and European appliances. Bathrooms feature Olympic gray porcelain tiles. Certain units contain balconies that overlook the Hudson River. The tower also features a penthouse collection called VUE, which combines unmatched views with elegant design. There are currently three penthouses for rent: PH2M, a 2-bedroom, PHIB, a 1-bedroom, and PH2K, a studio.
