The 130,000-square-foot mixed-use development on Harlem’s ever-evolving West 125th Street is nearing completion. Situated between Lenox and Fifth avenues, the two-wing 6-story project at 5 West 125th Street will include both commercial and residential space, with the top three floors of the 126th Street building holding the 30 rental apartments. Aurora Capital Associates and the Adjmi family are co-developing the project.
WeWork, a company which creates dynamic and collaborative shared workspaces, has leased the entire third floor of the building and will provide an airy co-working space with common areas and conference rooms. WeWork can be a great option for either small or big businesses, and this outpost is centrally located in the heart of Harlem, and is near numerous subway lines and MetroNorth.

WeWork offers a number of amenities to businesses leasing their space, including weekly networking events, a coffee bar, high speed internet, printing access, cleaning services, ad private phone booths. On-site management and cleaning staff are available throughout the week.
Two other companies have also leased space within the building: Bed, Bath & Beyond will occupy 30,000 square feet on the second floor, and TJ Maxx has just leased the lower level space which measures 20,000 square feet. This leaves 18,000 square feet of space still available on the ground floor for another tenant. Rosenbaum Design Group is the architect of record, and the building should be complete by the end of this year.
