Leasing Begins at Downtown Brooklyn's 300 Ashland, No-Fee Rentals from $2,850/Month

"Unlike anything, in the middle of everything." The new residential building at 300 Ashland is the most interesting and dramatic new high-rise in Downtown Brooklyn. Now, the 35-story tower is ushering in 300 no-fee rental apartments to Brooklyn's most exciting business hub. The mixed-use project is being developed by the Walentas family's Two Trees Management, which will oversee leasing too.
The building's cutting-edge design, by Enrique Norten's TEN Arquitectos is distinguished by a perforated skin and a randomized pattern of grey metal panels. In the heart of the BAM Cultural District, the building rises at a triangular lot bounded by Flatbush, Ashland, and Lafayette Avenues. The podium base of the tower will front a 20,000 square-foot public plaza. Inside the podium will be a branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, BAM's Hamm Archives Center, and 651 ARTS. The tower is further articulated by cutaway slices, revealing fully-glazed sections. A setback along its southern elevation gives a nod to Brooklyn's former tallest building, the Williamsburg Saving Bank building, now known as One Hanson.

Residents will enjoy white oak hardwood floors, Corian window sills, Caesarstone countertops, Bosch and Energy Star appliances, and Grohe bathroom fixtures.
