Waterbridge Capital’s 72 Box Street stands as a solid masonry tribute to Greenpoint’s industrial past. After purchasing the lot for $1 million in April 2013, the developers tapped Isaac & Stern to design the 6-story box-like building which hosts 39 designer apartments. Kitchens include striking birchwood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, subway tile backsplashes, and custom pendant lighting. To top off the latest 21st century amenities, baths are complete with Italian porcelain tile, custom vanities, medicine cabinets, and Kohler and Toto fixtures.
Amenities at 72 Box include a common landscaped terrace and garden, a video intercom, an elevator, bicycle storage, and on-site parking. The building also hosts a top floor roof deck, offering simply gorgeous views of the neighborhood and the Manhattan skyline. Outside its doors, Greenpoint has it all: unique boutiques and grocery stores, fine dining and casual eateries, and relaxing night venues and fun bars.
