Brookfield Properties and the Park Tower Group of the Greenpoint Landing development have launched leasing for the fourth building on the 22 acre master-planned waterfront, which will eventually include 11 residential towers with 5,500 housing units. Known as One Blue Slip, the new tower rises to 30 floors with 359 units inside - and 90% of them feature views of the East River and Manhattan skyline.
The waterfront residences are available in a variety of layouts with spacious living areas featuring 9-foot ceilings and bay windows. Douglas Elliman handles leasing and prices for studios start at $3,023/month, 1 bedrooms at $3,208/month, 2 bedrooms at $5,843/month and 3 bedrooms at $7,491/month. The building is adjacent to new 1.5 acres of public open space designed by James Corner Field Operations, providing waterfront access previously closed-off for generations.

Handel Architects designed the building to be rectangular in form and its brick facade and painted black metal windows give the exterior an industrial feel. It is designed with saw-toothed bay windows along the north and south faces to maximize dramatic views and is sited to maintain view corridors for the community. At its base will be retail space and the residential units begin on the third floor.
The luxurious residences are designed with top of the line stainless steel appliances, and Bosh washers/dryers are in all units. Kitchens are accented with tiled backsplashes and quartz countertops, and select units have walk-in closets and private terraces.
One Blue Slip features amenity interiors designed by Gachot Studios; the package includes co-working, media and gaming lounges, a bar with a terrace, a children’s playroom, a fitness center and a yoga room. Other property highlights include Latch keyless entry, concierge, onsite parking and a residents-only pet grooming center.
