Each unit features wide plank oak floors, custom lighting fixtures, honed absolute black granite countertops, linen textured backsplash, stainless steel KitchenAid appliances, oversized bathroom vanities, and Bosch washer/dryer bundles. Select units offer floor-to-ceiling windows maximizing views of the landscaped courtyard, Hudson River, and Midtown Manhattan skyline, as well as built-in pantries, full-length mirrored medicine cabinets, and spacious walk-in closets.
Gotham West offers residents an all-inclusive package of amenities. A fully-attended lobby features a concierge and full-time doorman. There is also a mail room, bicycle valet, a fitness center offering personal training, a business center, a full-service garage, a children’s playroom and outdoor playground, and a fully equipped demonstration kitchen that provides a continental breakfast to residents daily. The complex is also graced with several common outdoor areas. On the 2nd floor sits a roof deck with a fireplace, and on the 32nd floor is furnished sky terrace an outdoor movie theater, and a misting wall. Finished in 2013 and nearly a full block, the 1,200-unit project was developed by the Gotham Organization and designed by SLCE Architects. The LEED-accredited project is anchored by a 31-story, 550-unit tower at Eleventh Avenue, and flanked by mid-rise buildings winged along its side-streets.
