Meet Oskar, a new mixed-use residential development at 572 Eleventh Avenue and West 43rd Street. The 13-story Hell's Kitchen building from developer Moinian Group launched leasing in 2018 for its its 118 rental residences. The building is named for Oskar Brecher, a longtime real estate professional at Moinian who oversaw the firm’s development portfolio before his passing in 2016.
Bold New York handles Oskar's leasing and select listings currently offer three months free on a 27-month lease; net prices for studios are from $3,689/month, one bedrooms from $4,311/month and two bedrooms from $6,889/month. This isn't the first time Moinian and Bold have collaborated; they had a successful launch in 2016 for the nation's largest rental building SKY at 605 West 42nd Street, where rentals are currently priced starting from $3,025 per month for a studio.

Award-winning architecture firm CetraRuddy teamed up with Moinian for Oskar, which features a masonry exterior inspired by the surrounding urban architecture. Each studio, one- and two-bedroom rental has specialized entry doors with smart locks, custom taupe oak wood floors and floor-to-ceiling, bay-like windows. Kitchens are complete with Caesarstone counters, niche shelving and custom paneled appliances, while the floor-to-ceiling tiled bathrooms feature soaking tubs and a Grohe combination shower wall system. Bedrooms offer custom closet interiors and each residence includes a Bosch washer/dryer.
The top floor of the building has an exclusive penthouse collection with residences featuring 10-foot ceilings and serene views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline. Select residences offer private outdoor space up to 1,200 square feet with landscape design by HMWhite. The penthouse residences include a complimentary accent wall by Paintzen selected from a curated palette designed specifically for Oskar. Additional luxuries include fireplaces and heated flooring in baths.
Oskar's collection of amenities are an extension of the residences; The Living Room is a resident's lounge and work space with a dining area and library; The Patio is a landscaped garden terrace; The Rooftop is beautifully landscaped by HMWhite and has breathtaking skyline and river views. The building's fitness center has Peloton, Technogym and Precor equiptment and residents are offered a special rate at the nearby Life Time Athletic at Sky, a professional-grade health club with fitness classes, swimming pools and sports courts. Oskar also has a sculpture garden with reflecting pool, 24-hour concierge and a complimentary resident shuttle.
