The building's designers selected hardwood oak floors and baseboard molding from certified sustainably harvested forests, and selected low-emitting paints, adhesives, sealants, and carpeting to reduce indoor air pollution. The bathrooms feature hotel-sized mirrors, oversized custom apothecary cabinets and imported tile floors.
Building amenities include a grand lobby with 24-hour door service and concierge, daily continental breakfast and a valet with maid services, dry cleaning and shoe repair. The pet-friendly building has a lovely roof deck and lawn, and also Club Helena, a three-level fitness center complete with a cardio theater, a Pilates & Spin room, a children’s playroom and a clubhouse with a fireplace.
