Icon stands 43-stories and 566 feet above Midtown at Eighth Avenue and West 48th Street. The skyscraper has been knighted the nickname “sliver” due to its super-slim proportions yielding a 1:18 height-width ratio. The building, completed in 2012, was designed by architect Ismael Leyva and developed by Esplanade Capital.
It hosts 122 apartments, and with only three per floor, residents are provided with a unique sense of privacy. Current prices start at $3,985/month for one-bedroom units. Prices are net effective and reflect up to 2 months free on 14-month leases. All units are no fee.

Inside Icon's light-bathed residences are high ceilings, glass window walls, hardwood floors, solar shades, customizable closets, and in-home laundry units.
