Listings in Jersey City often tout New York City skyline views as a major selling point. However, the waterfront city has seen its own skyline dramatically come together in recent years. Among it is Haus25, a 56-story, 600-foot-tall high-rise that takes a prominent place on the Jersey City Gold Coast skyline. Nearly 20 percent of the 750 units have been leased in less than two weeks of appointment-only previews, and current availabilities start at $3,163/month for studios, $3,718/month for one-bedrooms, $4,932/month for two-bedrooms, and $7,473/month for three-bedrooms.
Haus25 was developed by Veris Residential, formerly Mack-Cali, which took control of the site from L+M Development Partners in 2018. Its shimmering curtain wall was designed by Elkus Manfredi (whose New York portfolio includes 200 Amsterdam, The Shops of Columbus Circle, and The Shops and Restaurants of Hudson Yards) and is underpinned by combined heat and power (CHP) units that convert natural gas to electricity and heat.

Haus25 has also implemented SOURCE hydropanels, an advanced renewable technology that uses solar power to extract net-zero water from the air and distribute it to drinking fountains on the roof deck. Additional environmentally friendly features include elevators with regenerative braking, at-curb bioretention swales, MERV-13 air filters in common spaces, on-site single-stream recycling and battery recycling, 375 bike parking spaces, and 24 electric vehicle charging stations in the on-site garage. Moreover, the building has partnered with Logical Buildings to provide residents with access to an app that shares real-time data on the building's energy usage and carbon footprint. Haus25 is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, and appears well on track to meet this goal.

In addition to the new housing units, 37 of which were designated affordable, the new tower contains a new public school in the base of the building; for these reasons, it was deemed essential construction at the height of the coronavirus pandemic. The project also includes a new public park at the corner of Christopher Columbus Drive and Warren Street.
The new park’s lush landscaping and quiet walkways offer an urban oasis in a bustling section of Jersey City. Haus25 is well situated between the Grove Street and Exchange Place ferry stops, and residents will also have the choice to take the ferry to New York. Closer to home, it is across the street from a Whole Foods under construction, and a short walk from Grove Street dining and shopping, including the farmers market in the Grove Street PATH plaza.
On the residential front, Haus25 is adjacent to the 23-story Paulus Hook Towers and near the 50-90 Columbus masterplan that wrapped up prior to the pandemic and was instrumental in establishing Jersey City as a residential destination rather than simply a Manhattan alternative.
