Leasing has begun at The Strand, a new mixed-use development at 178 Woodward Avenue, developed by Camber Property Group and Valyrian Capital, and designed by Aufgang Architects. Virtual tours are available; for those who like what they saw online and want to visit in person, masks are required and hand sanitizing stations are on-site.
All 132 studio through three-bedroom residences feature oversized windows, natural white oak hardwood floors, and kitchens finished with custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. The interiors were designed by Meshberg Group, as was an amenities package including a co-working lounge, fitness center, media and gaming lounge, inner courtyard, and two rooftop decks.

The building also offers on-site parking for cars and bicycles, but is conveniently located near the Jefferson Avenue L train, the B38, B57, and Q54 buses, and Citibike stations. Moreover, its address where Bushwick meets Ridgewood allows for easy access to the best dining, shopping, and services both neighborhoods have to offer.

"The Strand combines spacious apartments with top flight amenities and innovative communal spaces to create amazing homes for New Yorkers in a vibrant, welcoming neighborhood" - Rick Gropper, Principal, Camber Property Group

Pricing starts at $2,050/month for studios, $2,425/month for one-beds, $3,225/month for two-beds, and $3,985/month for three-beds. All prices are net effective to reflect a rent concession.
The market-rate leasing launch comes hot on the heels of a lottery for 40 affordable units in the building. Individuals and households earning 130 percent of the area median income ($61,612 - $183,300) have until September 1 to apply for apartments ranging from $1,797/month studios to $3,508/month three-beds. More information can be found here, and details on all ongoing affordable housing lotteries can be found here.
