Bon Jovi sells out in SoHo; Brit comedian Ricky Gervais and tech titan Paul Allen buy more space without leaving the building.

Corporate rock hair apparent Jon Bon Jovi’s pricey penthouse, which he bought for $28 million in 2007, recently hit the market. The hitmaker wants $45 million for the palatial 7,400 square-foot duplex in the New Museum Building (former home of the eponymous museum) at 158 Mercer Street. A galaxy of notable neighbors includes hotelier Andre Balasz, photographer Raymond Meier and Calvin Klein progeny Marci Klein; The Good Wife star Julia Margulies recently had a look-see as well (The Real Estalker).

Clever comedian and quirky sketch creator Ricky Gervais (The Office) and his girlfriend Jane Fallon have bought a 1,794 square-foot, two-bedroom apartment on the twelfth floor of the Barbizon for $3.75 million. Gervais already owns a home on the building’s ninth floor, though that unit is not for sale. The couple’s new corner apartment includes perks like two terraces and a private entrance to an Equinox gym (NYObserver).

Executive suites: Microsoft Macher Paul Allen has plucked a penthouse to top off the 18-room full-floor unit he already owns at 4 East 66th Street. The multi-billionaire’s latest acquisition features banks of windows and a wraparound terrace offering panoramic park and city views. The tech titan put $25 mil into his latest move skyward (The Real Estalker). Octogenarian music industry exec Clive Davis has purchased few new walls at the Rushmore—to the tune of $5.9 million, $1 million less than what the 5-bedroom condo went on the market for a year ago—to adorn with platinum platters (NYObserver).
