Over 30 top chefs throw down for BBQ laurels in this inaugural event co-hosted by James Beard Award-winning food writer Josh Ozersky. There will be tastings and there will be beer. Who could have a beef with that?

Tickets: The event is free; tasting tickets (benefiting local charities) $25-$150.

Frank Bruni at the Strand Bookstore
In Born Round, famed restaurant critic Frank Bruni introduces readers to his human side and his complicated lifelong relationship with food. At this author event, Bruni will present his book and address audience questions.
