Comment About the Building

The building has a part time doorman from 8am until midnight. They are very nice guys and helpful. The lobby is pretty bland but bright. Elevators (one on each side of building) are a little slow but there are only 6 floors. Pretty easy board- Most of the people living in the building have been there for 20 plus years so there is not too much turn over in these apartments. Ditmas Mgmt has a bunch of sponsor units in the building. Fabulous neighborhood- right in the heart of the West Village. If someone wants to a doorman building in the West Village which is fairly difficult to find, this is the building. It`s steps from The Spotted Pig, the famous Magnolia Bakery and it`s across the street from a playground. Downstairs is a great little deli/grocery and across the street is a Gristedes. It`s also close to Balducci`s and tons of shopping on Bleecker St. It`s close to the A,C,E trains and there is a bus stop a block away on Hudson.
