Standing at 93 stories and 1,066 feet tall, The Brooklyn Tower is Brooklyn's first supertall skyscraper and the borough's tallest building, surpassing even Manhattan's Chrysler Building. Developed by JDS Development Group and designed by award winning SHoP Architects, this striking tower incorporates the adjacent landmarked 1908 Dime Savings Bank building, creating an architectural dialogue between Brooklyn's historic past and its future. The project's unique design draws inspiration from the bank's Neoclassical motifs while cantilevering over portions of the historic structure, utilizing approximately 300,000 square feet of transferred air rights.
The tower houses 150 condominium residences beginning at the 53rd floor, ensuring all units sit at extraordinary heights with unobstructed views. Residences range from studios to four bedroom layouts, all featuring interiors by AD100 firm Gachot Studios. Common apartment features include soaring ceiling heights up to 11 feet, floor-to-ceiling windows, and European white oak flooring in a custom honey stain. The sophisticated design palette incorporates rich mahogany millwork, antique rubbed bronze detailing, and hexagonal mosaic patterns throughout.
Kitchens across all residences showcase Gachot Studios' refined aesthetic with striking graphite matte black and etched bronze mirror cabinetry, polished bronze mirror backsplashes, and Absolute Black granite countertops. High end Miele appliances are fully integrated, while Waterworks fixtures feature custom brass finishes. Bathrooms are equally impressive, with walls sheathed in expressive Breccia Capria marble and flooring in white Bianco Dolomite marble arranged in hexagonal patterns, complemented by custom light mahogany vanities.
The building's amenity program spans over 120,000 square feet and is managed by Life Time, marking a first of its kind partnership for residential buildings. The crown jewel is the Dome Pool and Terrace, which creatively reimagines the Dime Savings Bank's roof deck with three dramatic outdoor pools surrounding the historic building's immense Guastavino dome. Additional amenities include a 75 foot indoor lap pool, double height poolside lounge with cocktail bar, state of the art fitness center, movie theater with wet bar, billiards room, library with co-working spaces, and private dining facilities.
Perhaps most remarkable are the building's record breaking high altitude amenities. The Sky Park at 629 feet above ground features a basketball court, dog run, and children's playground - proudly holding the title of the highest facilities of their kind in the Western Hemisphere. The exclusive Sky Lounge on the 85th floor sits at over 850 feet, offering residents the highest vantage point in Brooklyn with panoramic views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, the East River, and New York Harbor. Located in Downtown Brooklyn at the crossroads of Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, and Brooklyn Heights, the tower provides unparalleled access to 12 subway lines, 11 commuter trains, and the city's expanding ferry network.
