37 East 12th Street is an eight story Greenwich Village condominium converted in 2014 from an 1896 commercial building that once housed Lenard's auction house and later the Kentshire Gallery. The conversion by Edward J. Minskoff Equities, designed by CS Architects with interiors by Haland & Haland, preserved a highly ornate façade with a decorative two story base, elaborate cast iron detailing, arched upper windows, and a strong cornice.

The building's history reflects the former auction district along University Place and Broadway, where galleries and auction houses occupied the corridor in the mid 20th century. Its restored interior architecture retains industrial barrel vaulted ceilings, original cast iron columns, and large expanses of glass, while the six residences use contemporary finishes such as chevron patterned walnut flooring, custom cabinetry, and marble bathrooms.

The townhouse is organized across three floors around a private garden, while the penthouse extends over multiple levels to a 1,188 square foot rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen.
