Albo Liberis, the Brooklyn-based firm unafraid of thinking out the box, has drawn up a colorful new commercial building for 150 Mill Street in Red Hook. Details on the project are next to nil, but the five published renderings show it will rise 6 floors, present a colorful face towards the BQE, and have a festive roof deck. The property is currently occupied by Pilku Construction Services, a scaffolding, and sidewalk shed company. Per city records, Pilku sold the trapezoidal parcel to "150 Mill Street, LLC" for an undetermined amount this past January. No building applications have been filed for the site since. Albo Liberis' other projects include the William Vale Hotel, Williamsburg Hotel, and a new office tower at 625 Fulton Street.
