Who would have guessed that Brooklyn's Atlantic Avenue would be a sought-after residential address? But over the years, high-end real estate has pushed eastward from Boerum Hill over to the wide thoroughfare's less manicured stretches demarcating Fort Greene/Clinton Hill from Prospect and Crown Heights. Four blocks east of the game-changing Pacific Park plan, 19 condominiums have come online at 929 Atlantic Avenue. With only three apartments per floor, the $15 million offering promises residents incredible views, light-filled spaces and beautiful layouts for every taste.
Four listings hit the market earlier this October — three of which are one-bedrooms priced from $600K and averaging around $1,000 per square foot. A two-bedroom measuring $1,054 square feet is available on the seventh floor and is listed for $1.295 million. A glance at Clinton Hill's condo availabilities shows its 37 listings pencil out to a median of $1,021 per ft² where one-bedrooms come in at $770K and two-bedrooms at $1.075M. The prices are also in line with the magnificent Cathedral Condominiums conversion nearby where one-bedroom is listed for $799K.

The homes are said to "showcase refined contemporary finishes with a subtle industrial edge." Open-concept plans have living rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows (some with balconies), exposed cement ceilings, and weathered white oak floors. Chef's kitchens feature two-tone custom cabinetry that is complemented with satin brass hardware, Quartzmaster Calacatta grey polished countertops, and metallic mosaic backsplashes. The integrated appliance suite is from Fisher & Paykel, Bosch, and Kitchen Aid and includes a convection oven and recirculating hood.
Baths have marble walls and floors, custom vanities and Aquabrass polished chrome fixtures. The standing showers have rainfall showerheads and others have deep soaking bathtubs. Other unit perks include modern recessed lighting and washer/dryer hookups.
