As another week in these strange times begins, New Yorkers go into it on PAUSE ("Policies Assure Uniform Safety for Everyone") with all non-essential businesses closed and their workers ordered to stay home. However, as both employees of essential companies and people stepping out for fresh air are coming to find, "social distancing" presents quite a challenge in a city where crowded transportation, sidewalks, and parks make it hard for people to stay more than six feet apart from each other. For those reasons, the city is considering closing some streets to cars and opening them to pedestrians.

Of course, the best way to flatten the curve and prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to simply stay inside.
