When buying or selling an apartment in New York City, it is not uncommon for public figures to conduct the transaction through an LLC or another entity for the sake of privacy. However, not everyone chooses to go this route. Some celebrities make purchases in their own name or one they do not publicly use; and when it’s time to sell, some are especially forthcoming with media outlets about their apartments and the happy memories made there in the hopes of drawing attention to the listings and making a quick sale.
