As August 2021 draws to a close, CityRealty listings show that a total of 277 condo, co-op, condop, and townhouses for sale came on the market over the past seven days. The new Manhattan condo listings came to a median price of $1.8 million, or $1,685 per square foot. The new Manhattan co-op listings recorded a median price of $682,500.

The week before Labor Day is usually a quiet one before a more eventful autumn, and that is especially the case this year. New York City schools are set to open on September 13, and this takes place amidst a combination of declining Covid rates and improving vaccine numbers throughout New York. And while Kathy Hochul was recently sworn in as governor of New York, the city's mayoral race is still going strong (register to vote here).
