Amenities Galore at Jackson Park, Shimmering LIC Rentals Leasing from $2,372/mo.

We've all seen the Long Island City skyline grow — and grow some more — right before our eyes, and it's not much of a surprise that the neighborhood leads the country in new rental development. Sizeable rental projects to have launched include Hayden, Watermark LIC, and Tower 28. But the largest and most amenitized batch to debut is Tishman Speyer's Jackson Park development: a three-tower complex of gleaming glass buildings with roughly 1,800 apartments spread between them. Additionally, residents have access to 120,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor resort-style amenities including a private 1.6-acre park.

Homes come in studio to four-bedroom configurations and Citi Habitats is handling leasing. Select units currently offer 1 month of free rent on 13-month leases. The team just annouced that apartments are now available in all three buildings: 1 Jackson Park, 2 Jackson Park and 3 Jackson Park; and the entire property’s completion date slated by year end.

The leasing team tells us studios are priced from $2,372/month, one-bedrooms from $2,815/month, two-bedrooms from $4,509/month, three-bedrooms from $5,880/month and 4 bedrooms from $7,385/month.

Well-proportioned apartments have white oak flooring, 9-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows with solar shades, LED lighting and resident-controlled heating and A/C. Homes have a key card entry system and outlets have integrated USB ports. Also present is the always-convenient washer/dryer unit and dishwasher. Kitchens have custom soft-close cabinetry, Caesarstone countertops and a Blomberg/Whirlpool EnergyStar appliances. Bathrooms have a tri-view mirror with integrated storage and custom European vanities; double vanities are in select units.
Jackson Park is designed by Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects and Hill West Architects and comprises three sleek towers topping out at 42, 44 and 53 stories. The towers sport shimmering glass curtain walls that express the neighborhood’s optimistic future and allow residents to fully take in expansive views of the city. The property has amenities split between three key spaces - The Park, The Club, and The Skydeck. Amenities adapted for play, relaxation and working from home include everything from a dog park to a fireside lounge to a 75-foot indoor lap pool.

The development is in Long Island City's Queens Plaza neighborhood which is convenient to SIX subway lines: the E, M, R, 7, N, and W trains. Residents can commute to Midtown in approximately 10 minutes, and other train lines make for easy travel into Brooklyn and other Queens neighborhoods.
Across from Jackson Park, Tishman is building an office and retail complex called the JACX. In addition to more than one million square feet of creative office space, the project will provide 55,000 square feet of retail offerings including a gourmet market, food hall, coffee shop, restaurants and boutique fitness offerings. Rob Speyer, CEO of Tishman Speyer says, “We are excited to deliver a truly 24/7 community where New Yorkers can live, work and play, complete with best-in-class amenities and convenient access to everything New York has to offer.”
