The Upper West Side is known for grand prewar buildings including the 14-story rental property at 212 West 91st Street known as The Greystone. It sits on a tree-line block with with classic apartment houses including De Soto, a cooperative which sits directly across the street, and also the iconic Young Israel of the West Side synagogue. The Greystone offers no fee luxury rentals in a variety of layouts with up to four-bedrooms and several studio and one-bedroom units are available now. Studios start from $2,395/month and one-bedrooms start from $3,407/month.
The Greystone sits at the intersection of West 91st Street and Broadway with express subway service at 96th Street. The building was once a hotel and has an original “Hotel Greystone” sign hanging from the Broadway-facing façade. Inside, units are renovated and have functional layouts with practical design features including units with Murphy beds, built in shelving and custom cabinetry. There are roughly 300 units in a wide variety of layouts with features like hardwood floors, high ceilings, and updated kitchens with new appliances and hardware.

The building was erected in the 1920s and its common areas and rooftop have been modernized to offer services and amenities. There is a 24-hour attended lobby and onsite management team, a bike room, and the landscaped roof deck with a garden is one of the largest on the Upper West Side offering city skyline and Hudson River views.
There is a newly renovated club room and private lounge great for a movie night or a dinner party, and the fitness center has a cardio and weight training class, personal training sessions, and monthly group fitness and yoga classes. The management team helps organize community events, like the annual resident rooftop party, and continental breakfast is offered weekly in the Clubroom.

The building is only blocks from several subway lines and there are several Citi Bike stations in the neighborhood. Riverside Park and Central Park are easily accessible and there are community gardens and playgrounds in the surrounding blocks. Plenty of retail options, services, markets and restaurants line Broadway and the Columbus Square shops at 97th Street include a Whole Foods, Home Goods, several banks and a handful of eateries.
