Downtown Brooklyn rental Warehouse 180 takes its name from its address, 180 Nassau Street, and the warehouses that once populated the neighborhood. The area has since turned desirably residential, and developer Pink Stone Capital Group took advantage of that to erect the 10-story, 102-unit building in 2014. A design by Alexander Compagno features a black metal façade with blue accents and large, multipaned windows.
The windows fill every apartment with natural light; additional features include high ceilings, hardwood floors, walk-in closets, and in-unit washer/dryers. Kitchens are outfitted with quartz countertops, oak cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances. Current listings show studios start at $2,550/month, one-bedrooms at $2,748/month, and two-bedrooms at $3,855/month. All prices are net effective to reflect one month free rent on an 18-month lease.
A two-story attended lobby welcomes residents and sets the tone for Warehouse 180, which welcomes pets. A spiral staircase leads to a library, and a nearby lounge with a flat-screen TV and fully equipped kitchen is ideal for entertaining. The building is topped with a landscaped roof deck with grill, dining areas, cedar planters, and beautiful views. Additional amenities include a fitness center, bike room, and two-level parking garage.
