The new waterfront community that debuted last year, dubbed Saltmeadow, sits along the shores of Far Rockaway bound by Beach 5th and Beach 6th Streets between Seagirt Avenue and the ocean. Saltmeadow is comprised of 60 two- and three-bedroom homes and there are several units available for rent. Douglass Elliman handles leasing and the team says units are ready for immediate occupancy and also accept guarantors; there is no fee.

The development is a project from the award-winning CetraRuddy Architecture and JDS Development and is "breathing new life into the unique beachside neighborhood," according to the team. Homes have custom plank wood floors, a Bosh washer/dryer, and marble baths. Eat-in kitchens have double sinks and marble countertops with Porcelanosa fixtures. Additional features include cedar accent walls, weathered zinc light fixtures, and entry stairs built from blue stone.
