At 647 feet tall, Tower 28 in Long Island City is the tallest residential building in the city outside Manhattan. The spacious apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on expansive views and come with custom blackout shades for night. The open kitchens have custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and stainless steel General Electric appliances. Other features include in-unit Bosch washer and dryer, hardwood floors, and individual room controlled heating and air conditioning.
As impressive as the building and apartments are, Tower 28 has attracted a great deal of attention for its amenities. The 45th-floor indoor pool has a retractable door leading to an outdoor terrace and is featured on CityRealty’s Top 10 Best Indoor Swimming Pools. Another outdoor terrace on the 58th floor includes dining and barbecue areas. A media room has theater-style seating for movie viewings and televised events. Other amenities include a fitness center, game room, rentable party room, and children’s playroom.
Tower 28 is a few blocks away from the Queens Plaza and Queensboro Plaza subway stations for an easy commute. The building is also centrally located near neighborhood restaurants, shopping, and bars.
