A new 7-story rental building is now officially open in Astoria at 28-22 Astoria Boulevard. Situated between 28th and 29th Streets, the newly completed building tops out at seven stories and features a redbrick exterior. The architect of record for the 25-unit mid-rise is T.F. Cusanelli & Filletti Architects.
There are currently twenty apartments for rent, all of which are no fee. Most of the building's units are one bedroom layouts starting from $2,850/month, but there are also two penthouse-style layouts with large private balconies that are priced from $4,250/month. Inside, residences feature hardwood flooring, full window walls, ample closet space, and central heating and cooling. Chef’s kitchens include custom lacquer cabinetry, white stone countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Baths are complete with deep soaking tubs. All residences feature private balconies.
28-22 Astoria Boulevard features a virtual doorman entry and 24-hour surveillance. Atop the building sits a landscaped and furnished roof deck offering beautiful and unobstructed views of the city and the RFK Bridge. The building also includes free bike storage and a laundry room.

Situated in Astoria, the building is just seconds from the N/Q train hub and a mere 7-minute commute to Midtown. The building is only a short distance from Astoria Park, which is known for its amazing waterfront views. Retails options are close as well, and include a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts only one block away.
The building has some units that have been designated as affordable housing, and a housing lottery is currently accepting applications through October 3rd.
