Progress continues at ML House, a new luxury rental currently under construction across the street from Bryant Park. Set to launch this summer, the 24-story building will have 62 residences in studio to three-bedroom layouts. Citi Habitats New Developments will handle leasing.
The 24-story, 62-unit project is from Skyline Developers and designed by Gene Kaufman Architects (GKA). The building has been named “ML House” for its address translated to Roman numerals. Many homes will have gracious views of the park, one of the city's most coveted gems, and some will offer private outdoor space. The building topped out last year and its facade, made of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC), is now being installed.

Homes in the building will have oversized windows and a warm interior design, also by GKA. Above the 12th floor, there will be no more than two apartments per floor, and the 24th-floor penthouse will have its own private rooftop. Building amenities will include a fitness center, resident lounge and second-floor terrace.
Bryant Park serves as a rejuvenated oasis for the neighborhood. Its 9.6 acres have a storied past but these days, the park is a manicured urban gem that hosts everything from outdoor movie screenings in summer to the popular pop-up ice skating rink and winter wonderland in colder months.
Two turn-of-the-century buildings were demolished to make way for the 63,000-square-foot ML House, and the team from Skyline Developers broke ground in summer 2016. Read more about Bryant Park's first luxury rental here.
